Hi Jannis,
No problem with coming back to old topics thats why they are
archived. :)

I'm not sure If I can help but here are some questions that will be
needed to help diganose the problem.

Are you running a recent version of gpsdrive from CVS or a snapshot?

How far out of position are things?
Perhaps a screen shot added to bugzilla will be the best way to describe
this. This issue discribes my work on this so far.
http://bugzilla.gpsdrive.cc/show_bug.cgi?id=80

What scale are you using and is it out for different scales?

You may need to get a clean start in your .gpsdrive folder as old
downloaded images and map_koord.txt entries may be causing problems.
Just rename it, that way you can come back to your existing folder if it
doesn't help.

If you include a track log and some way points in bugzilla, I may be
able to test it here however depending on how far out it is and how
obvious the landmarks are on the image I may not be able to tell where
it should be lined up.

There has been some discussion on weather the projection caclulations
currently used will work for different locations around the world. So
hopefully your tests will help sort it out.

David
