I just exported a map of the Tasman Sea from the GIS* with Dunedin, New
Zealand (me) in the bottom right corner of the image. Everything is
where it should be. I also cropped out the AU+NZ airports from the
FlightGear list and converted into gpsdrive way_*.txt format. They all
draw in the right place too. (see WA screenshot linked below)
[gpsdrive 2.09 on Debian/Stable (sarge), using official debian package]
[*] ie NASA Blue Marble 2002 + GRASS GIS + d.out.gpsdrive module
Some linked files, including the draft quality Tasman Sea GpsDrive
backdrop, the way_tasman_airports.txt file, and a screenshot of
correctly located airports over top_Australia.png:
