I just hauled in the subversion repository, so I started with an all
new build. I went to build a Fedora Core 5 RPM, using the FC5 spec
file in src.
rpmbuild hit a problem:
RPM build errors:
File not found by glob:
/var/tmp/gpsdrive-buildroot/usr/share/gpsdrive/streets/*
To build a binary rpm, rpmbuild creates a dummy file system under
/var/tmp. Anything there is produced by running "make install-strip".
Before creating the tarball I set the version to today's date and run
"aclocal;automake;autoconf", then "./configure".
I don't see a directory named streets in the tarball.
