[ gpsdrive ] top_ mapimage display problem

Hi List,

Has the way that map images with top_ and map_ prefixes been changed
since ~June 2006?

I have some topo maps imported from the terraservice WMS with the
script i had posted. An old version of gpsdrive (2.09 as shipped by
ubuntu) displays these pefectly, while a CVS version of the code does
not.

Both versions display a properly scaled version of a map_ file.

I have two screenshots showing this...

the first:
http://turbidity.rutgers.edu/~ryan/gpsdrive_stuff/gpsdrive_map_209vs210.jpg
(with map_koord.txt only containing one line:
map_10000-41.216--74.83.gif 41.216 -74.83 11850
you can see the + waypoint markers properly line up with the two
street intersections in both versions of gpsdrive (the title bar of
the window identifies each version.

the second screenshot illustrates the problem:

(with map_koord.txt only containing one line:
top_TerraServicedrg_-74.822001_41.216499_10000.jpg 41.216499
-74.822001 10000)

v2.09 puts the + for the waypoints in the correct location, while the
new CVS version does not.

I am not very familiar with the internal workings of gpsdrive, so i am
having trouble tracking this down. I do know that an old built from
20060630CVS did not have this problem, but i cannot find a
comprehensive changelog to track it back.

can anyone else verify this problem?

Thank you!
