Can you give us a little bit more information on what you installed, which 
platform, which version you downloaded. What is the complete error message? 
where did you install the module? Where did you get the module from ...

What is the result of:
  locate Twig.pm
  perl -e 'print join("\n",@INC);'

Maybe this helps isolating the problem.

Just the usual stuff ;-)

Btw.: if you ask the people in the mailinglist your changes of spamfilters 
eating your mails is much less than by asking people directly.
