Re: [ gpsdrive ] Support for Bluetooth GPS?

Hello,

I'm running linux on ipaq H2210, with 64Mb of ram. My distribution is
familiar, running well. I'm using a Holux gpslim236 GPS, via bluetooth.

I do NOT want direct serial connection to be removed from gpsdrive !! it
is so useful !

gpsd is quite fine, but takes too much resources on my embedded system
!! and the last version (2.34) behave incorrectly as it tries to
reconfigure the device (even with a compilation with a special option to
prevent it to do so). My bluetooth device does not support more than
38400 bauds, gpsd tries to change it. I had to do a short circuit on the
board to get it working again !!!!

gpsd for me is not necessary as it takes cpu and ram for "nothing" : I
just use one gps application : gpsdrive.

PLEASE leave direct connection to serial port into gpsdrive!

Thank you

Romain
