are you sure? or did you mean 2.6.x ?
my dev system is a debian sid, where 2.6.27 is installed, so I chose this 
version while developing.
but if it works with the older versions, we can change it to 2.6.26

hmm, the coordinates display at the bottom?
this one should work. you can change the format in the settings.
