[ gpsdrive ] gpsdrive mailinglist migration

Hello,

After a few more weeks than I announced, the mailinglist is about to
move to another maintainer: Tom Simes

This means that the old mailinglist will be stopped and every
subscriber needs to re-subscribe to the new list. This can be
achieved by browsing to:
 http://lists.gpsdrivers.org/mailman/listinfo/gpsdrive
or
 http://lists.gpsdrivers.org/

or use the e-mail interface:

 gpsdrive-request@gpsdrivers.org

Re-subscription is being done in the interest of privacy rather than
for technical reasons.

The old mail address (gpsdrive@warbase.selwerd.nl) will give a
message to resubscribe to the other list soon (about a day) after
this announcement. There is no need to unsubscribe the old list. But
if you feel happier if you do, go ahead.

The new mailiniglist has an archive too, so people that don't
quickly subscribe will be able to see all of the mails they have
missed: http://lists.gpsdrivers.org/pipermail/gpsdrive/

Also make sure that you update your (procmail) filters and other
filtering to allow the new list to reach you after you subscribed to
the new list (the mails will come from another server).

In case of questions please mail me directly (dirk-jan at selwerd
dot nl) with a cc to Tom (simestd at netexpress dot com) and a
subject containing 'gpsdrive migration'.

Leaves me with nothing more that to thank Erik for running the list
on his server for so many years, Fritz for starting the gpsdrive
software, Tom for taking over the maintaining of the list and all of
the members and developers on the list for gpsdrive.

Kind regards,
  Dirk-Jan
